Dementia: De-escalation Strategies
As symptoms progress, a person living with dementia may find it increasingly difficult to express their needs. Changes in behaviour can occur as a way of communicating these needs. This course explores how to respond appropriately to agitated behaviour and de-escalate the situation when there are safety concerns.
