People who identify as part of the LGBTIQ+ community may have felt marginalised throughout their life. This course explores how to provide individualised and inclusive support in the home care setting.

Julie Watson is an educator, facilitator and advocate. After two decades of working with the Human Rights Commission, she is now programme manager for Silver Rainbow and Rainbow Tick. She also provides education and consultancy around workplace relationships, inclusive policies and LGBTTQIA+ issues. Julie is on the Rainbow Panel Advisory group to Auckland City Council and is the artistic director for Auckland Playback Theatre.
