Marta Woolford has trained and worked in academic, public health, and non-profit roles. In these roles, she has supported organisations to deliver evidence-informed, person-centred, best practice care and services. In 2022, Marta will complete her PhD in the epidemiology and prevention of deaths from unexplained absences among nursing home residents. She has a consistent focus on linking research with policy and practice, and engaging communities and organisations to build collaborative relationships and deliver the best quality of life for older persons.
