CUSTOMER SERVICE : THE DIFFERENTIATOR IN AGED CARE
One of the simplest, least complicated, yet often overlooked aspects of delivering health care is practicing good customer service skills. Health care leaders and researchers are recognising that health care, from the patient’s/resident’s perspective, is as much a consumer-focused service as other service industries are.
The future of health and healthcare relies on dedicated professionals who can deliver the most appropriate care, at the right time, in the right place. In order to raise awareness and show our support in providing a better customer service, from 10 to 24 May, Altura learning is providing free of charge access to our programme – “Customer Service: a five star experience” .
This programme will help you to:
- Appreciate service as a fundamental philosophy
- Implement specific service strategies:
- going the extra mile
- managing and exceeding expectations
- demonstrating courtesy
- a positive ‘can do’ approach
