Note: This course be replaced by Spirituality: Understanding Individual Needs in 2021.

Learning Outcomes

After viewing this course participants should be able to:

* Explain what is meant by the term ‘spiritually’ and list various forms that spiritually may take
* Recognise the MacKinlay model of spiritual care/needs assessment of older people
* Identify strategies to meet the spiritual needs of older people including spiritual reminiscence, and organised worship and know where to locate additional support to meet the spiritual needs of older people
